Rachel Barton will be leading a workshop on Creating a Chapbook at the 2018 Oregon Poetry Association’s Fall Conference, September 29th. Look for her in class or at the open mic. Her new chapbook, Happiness Comes, will be available at the book table.

Willamette Writers on the Coast: Poetry Workshop with Rachel Barton, third Sunday in November (Nov. 18th)–2:00 p.m. Spend the afternoon creating “starts” within a community of poets, working from selected mentor poems, sharing our zero drafts, and  launching ourselves into the writing zone.

In my workshop (2:20 p.m.), we will be using mentor texts to recharge our writing practices, with several other workshops to keep us writing!
